CARNEGIE HALL 4th year running!
BYE is beyond thrilled to announce that we have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall on December 4th as part of renowned composer Tim Janis's American Christmas Carol! This marks our first big gig of the season and all our members, staff and family are hard at work in preparation for this amazing opportunity. Now in it's third year, Tim Janis's American Christmas Carol is produced annually for the Golden Hat Foundation. The foundation was established in 2010 by actress Kate Winslet with the mission to "Change the way people on the autism spectrum are perceived, by shining a light on their abilities and emphasizing their great potential." We are honored to support the Golden Hat Foundation through our involvement.
We will be sharing the stage with renowned flutist Sir James Galway, singer-songwriter Loreena McKennit, and Grammy award winner Lisa Fischer, just to name a few.
For most BYE members, this will mark their Carnegie Hall debut, and we are thrilled to welcome a bunch of new members of the Broadway Youth Ensemble to the stage for their first performance with us! Make sure to check out our blog and Facebook page for fun updates, photos and videos of our rehearsal process and performances!
Tim Janis's American Christmas Carol will be held in the Stern Auditiorium at Carnegie Hall the evening of Thursday, December 4th, 2014, at 8:00 PM. For tickets and more information, visit www.CarnegieHall.org
